Napier Harbour Board Empowering Bill. I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee, to which was referred the Napier Harbour Board Empowering Bili, has duly considered the same, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed as amended by the Local Bills Committee, with the exception of clause 6, which it is Considered should be dealt with in another measure. Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee held its final meeting to-day (Ist March)' The Committee, consisting of fourteen members, held twelve meetings during the session, the average attendance at each meeting being eight. Including thirty-five petitions brought forward from 1931, the Committee had before it sixtynine petitions. Forty-six were reported on, and twenty-three are held over. The Native Land Amendment Bill and the Napier Harbour Board Empowering Bill were duly considered and reported on.
