No. 297/1932-33. —Petition of Wai Yep and Co., of Opunake. Praying for special legislation directing the Taranaki Maori Trust Board to discharge a debt allegedly incurred by the acceptance and consumption of certain goods. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. 2nd March, 1933.

Special Report. I have the honour to report that at its final meeting the Native Affairs Committee passed the following resolution :— " That the Committee desires to place on record its high appreciation of the able and courteous manner in which the Chairman, Mr. C. Special Report.
