SPECIAI . sessions are being observed by all stations, and concert programmes in keeping with the day have been arranged for the evening. In the morning, services conducted by the combined churches will be broadzast by 1YA, 3YA, and 4YA. From noon, 1YA will broadcast from St Mary’s Cathedral the Three Hours’ Devotion service. The Rev. K. Macfarlane will be the preacher. 2YA will go on the air at two o’clock with selected .recordings. At three o’clock a relay from St. Gerard’s Redemptorist Church where "The Stations of the Cross" is to be preached by the Rev. J. McHenry, C.SS.R., will be carried out. Auckland Notes 1YA’s evening programme will be of an excellent standard. Ida Holmes, s0prano, is singing, among other numbers, Schubert’s "Ave Maria." Mr. J. M. Clarke, elocutionist, will be heard in two recitals, which will include selections from the poetical works of Rupert Brooke, Wellington Jottings On the evening programme, following a session of recorded musie from 6 to 7 o’clock, will be a relay of the sacred cantata, "Olivet to Calvary,"

to be given at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church, Wellington South, by the ~ choir under the conductorship of Mr. W. A. Gatheridge. The soloists will re Binet Brown and W. Roy ill, After the cantata there will be a Studio concert, for which an appropriate programme has been arranged. From Christchurch A relay of Bach’s "Passion" (St. Matthew), to be giver jin Christchurch Anglican’ Cathedral by the choir, under the conductorship of Dr. J. C. Bradshaw. will follow A Stadio concert will conclude the evening’s broadeast. 4YA Notes’ The evenine’s programme will be provided by Mon. B.
