From Auckland During the afternoon the results of the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting will be broadcast. : 1YA has a programme of the light vaudeville type. Ernest and Wendy present "Bits and Pieces" and more "Bits and: Pieces." Mr. J. A, Haiford, comic singer, will make his first appearance in radio. There will also be "piano impressions" by Eric Beil and orchestral numbers: by the 1YA . Chamber Orchestra. Wellington Jottings DRAYTON VENABLES, of Whangarei, a bass-baritone of note, on a visit to Wellington, will be singing for 2YA. . Mr, R. D. Maunsell will produce a twenty-minutes’ sketch, "The Sentimentalists." , oe From Christchurch . SYA will relay 4YA’s programme, which will be provided by "The Troubadours," and.an orchestra under the direction of Mr. John TT, Leech, It will be a pot-pourri of good things, and featured on the programme listeners will find a collection of sea songs of a hundred years go.
