The Secretary Writes AM radio listeners in the Dominion will be interested to know that, jn company with Mr, &. Hackett (NZLOW), I called on Petty-Officer Tele--graphist A. J. Williams, of the Antarctic research ship Discovery, to present him with an honorary member’s certificate and badge in recognition of his great work in connection with radio in the Antarctic. Owing to the conditions of the voyage I am unable to give an account, ouly to say that the _directionfinding apparatus and various appliances were very up to date. Mr. Williams was much interested to hear of the club and thanked us for literature and copies of the "Record."
