Mornings. THE two Russian stations on 50 metres and about 45.4 metres respectively continue to be well received each morning.. HVJ, Vatican City, .on 50.26 metres, from. 6.30 a.m., is excellent, but talk" only is heard. Radio Maroc, 32.26 metres, on Monday morning was again excellent at RO from 7.30 am. OXY, Denmark, 31.51 metres. ig audible at times, but a morse station is often too close. Zeesen, 31.88 metres, is not quite so good now. Volume about R8, but subject to gushiness. PCJ, 31.28 metres, on Thursday was R6 at 6.30 a.m, increasing to RO by 7.30 am. Saturday morning volume was less all through. ‘ G5SSW, 25.58 metres, is very poor till after the interval between 7.30 and 7.45 a.m., when reception improves wonderfully. On Tuesday, after the usual interval, it was announced that Lloyd George would inaugurate a series of talks on free trade and protection Mr. Lioyd George commenced his talk at 7.50 a.m, by reviewing the changes that had taken place since the com mencement of his political career. WIXAF, 81.48 metres, comes in earlier, being readable soon after 1 p.m. and increasing to R9 soon after 2 pm, ‘WIXAZ, 31.35 metres, is not so consistent, but often comes through quite well, WS8XK, 95.25 metres, also is very changeable, but is best about 1.30 p.m. Evenings. HERE is not much doing on the short-waves during the early evening, except duplex telephony, RV15, 70.1 metres, can be heard soon after 8 p.m., increasing in volume as the hour orows later. .

VK8MBE, 31.55 metres, on Wednesday and Saturday is very good from 9,80.p.m., but subject to severe fading. WJXAZ, 31.35 metres, starts at 11 p.m., but a trifle weak, about R4-5 just now. G5SSW at 11 p.m. during the week has been too weak to be readable. Saigon, 49 metres, with me of late has been smothered by a morse station.
