Auckland Radio Exhibition

Town Hall, May 20 to 23 FYROM May 20 to 23, inclusive, the second Auckland Radio Exhibition will be held in the Concert Chamber of the Auckland Town Hall. It will be open to the public on May 20 at 7.30 p.m., and will then continue from 10 a.m, until 10.30. p.m. each day. In all there will be 13 exhibitors who have been allotted stands as under :-- Stall. Stall. No. 1.-Lewis Eady, Ltd. No. 8 -Philips Lamps (N.Z.), No. 2.-Frank Wiseman, Ltd. Ltd. No. 3.-Caddells, Ltd. No. 9.-Cuff & Thompson. No, 4.-Abel, Smeeton, Ltd. | No. 10.-Cuff & Thompson. No. 5.-Farmers’ Trading Co. No. 11-New Zealand A.R.T. No. 6.-Spedding, Ltd. No. 12a.-‘‘New Zealand Radio." No. 7.-Johns, Ltd. No. 12b.-‘Radio Record." Each exhibitor will be displaying the most recent models of sets, but components and other apparatus of interest to the setbuilder will also be on show. There will also be several novelty exhibits which alone should prove most interesting. The stage will be a model studio and from here the programmes will be broadcast in full view of the audience, and those who have not yet seen a broadcast take place will be able to do so. Specia! programmes have been arranged, and when not broadcasting from the studio. these will be picked up by the receivers shown. Due to. the locality ahd other factors, demonstrations on stations other than 1YA are not allowed. However, radio dealers will be only too pleased to arrange private demonstrations to ‘suit interested visitors. Elsewhere in this issue will be found descriptions of sets and other radio apparatus that will be on the New Zealand market during the coming year and a great deal of this will be on exhibition in Auckland. :
