Polar Submarine

In Touch’ by Radio SHORE WAVE radio communication was established last week by Amalgamated Wireless from Sydney with Sir Hubert Wilkins’s submarine Nautilus in New York harbour. The Nautilus is being equipped for an attempt to reach the North Pole by travelling under the ice. A number of messages were exchanged between A.W.A. and Sir Hubert Wilkins, who asked that greetings be conveyed to his friends in Australia and New Zealand, also that the Press of both countries be informed that he is in communication, and that messages for him and his party may be lodged at the A.W.A. traffic offices, or at any post office in the Coiminonwealth or Dominion.
