THE CELESTE QUARTET

Personnel-Miss Myra Sawyer (soprano), Mrs, Edgar Swain (contralto), Mr. Edgar Swain (tenor), Mr. W. Boardman (bass), Saturday night’s programine by this quartet is of a distinctly high order. The ffamous and very beautiful ‘Anvil Chorus" from "Il Trovatore" will be an item well worth ‘"‘tuning-in,’’ its melo-: dies, with the anvil effect, lending themselves admirably to broadcasting. The pleasures of this evening will be enhanced by Mr. E. J. Palmer, late of Palmerston North, who has won a wide reputation by his artistry in the manipulation of the steel guitar.
