SUNDAY CONCERTS

INAUGURAL SUNDAY EVENING SESSIONS The band concert season having terminated, the first of the series of Sunday evening studio concerts will be presented on December 4, the vocal portion of the programme being provided by the Apollo Quar: tet, whose personnel is MR. W. S. DUNCAN (TENOR), MR. W. ROBBINS (TENOR), MR. S. E. RODGER (BASS), MR. RAY DEL: LOW (BASS). Care has -been taken that the items to be broad: cast shall be eminently appropriate to the occasion. The concerted numbers will include selections . from the oratorios "‘Elijah’’ and "The Crucifixion," and also a very melodious setting of "The Long Day Closes." A very fine range of solo items will add variety to the vocal section.
