Fat Cattle.— l 62 head yarded, only two pens of these being good prime quality, the majority consisting of light to good bullocks, with a pen or two of good heifers. Prices were more than equal to those ruling last week. Best bullocks, £9 10s to £10 ss; medium to good, £8 to £9 ; light, £5 10s to £7 15s ; best cows and heifers, £6 15s to £8 ; medium to good, £5 5s to £6 10s ; light, £4 5s to £5. Sheep.— Of the 1568 penned the most were good to prime wethers, only two or three pens of ewes being forward. Prices were fully equal to late rates. Extra prime wethers sold up to 29s ; prime, 24s to 26s ; medium to good, 22s 6d to 23s 6d ; light, 20s to 21s 9d ; best ewes, 20s to 21s 9d ; others, 17s to 19s. Pi2;s.— ll7 yarded, about half of which were suckers and slips, the balance being porkers, with a few pens of baconers. Prices for all sorts, with the exception of bacon pigs which were easier, were fully equal to last week's rates. Suckers, 8s to 135,; slips, 14s to 18s; stores, 19s to 235; porkers, 21s to 30s; light baconers, 33s to 36s ; heavy do, 38s to 43s ; choppers, up to 50s.
