At St. Peter's Church, Cambridge, on Sunday evening, August 6, after devotions, the members of the choir and other friends of the organist (,Miss A. Plescher) remained for the purpose of offering a slight tribute for the services rendered by her during the past ilhree yoa,rs>. Rev. Farther Darby, on b-etoalf of Uhe donors, presented Miss Plescher with a gold bangle, and said he was pleased to see the spirit that had led the choir and others to show such well-deserved esteem. The recipient (wfhio was more than surprised), through lihe choirmaster (Mr. , Vandyke), expressed her sincere appreciation of the gift, and assured each on© that she would ever remember the kindly feelings shown towards her.
