July 2 Thursday being the feastnday of our dcvotod pastor Uev. Father Regnault, he was presented with a beautiful travelling rug by the pupils of St. Patrick's School. The members of the H.A.QB. Society played their second match in the card tournament, against the Druias, the game ending in a flraw. A week later they were defeated by the Foresters by 13 games. Hu? Lordship Bishop Cfrimes arrived here on Friday, and in ihe evening made his visitation, in the presence of a large congregation. On Siunday morning he administered the Sacrament of Confirmation at Morvfen; and in the afternioon at St. Patrick's Church, Waimate where the candidates numbered about 70 boys and gautis! On Tuesday morning his Lordship goes to Makikihi to administer Confirmation, and in the evening the parishioners of Waimate will entertain him at a conversazione in St. Patrick's School.
