Addington Stock Market. The entries at Addington comprised 2523 fat sheep, 3000 fat lambs, 1412 Btore sheep, 219 cattle, and 361 pigs. Fat Cattle— The 133 head fat cattle yarded were mostly poor Borts, but they met with a better market at from 22a to 25a per 1001 b for pood to prime beef and 18s to 21s other sorts. Best steew brought L 8 to LlO 10a : others, L 6 17s 6d to L 7 10s ; best heifers, L 7 to L 8 ; others, L 3 17s 6d to LG 10s ; best cows, L 7 to L 8 10s • others, L 5 to L 6 UK Fat Sheep— There was a mixed yarding, which included some good linefl of wethers and many others not finished and a good Bupply of ewes. Freezers were not anxious to secure sheep. Freezing wethers realised from 18s to 20* ; lighter, 16s Dd to 17s 6d; best ewes. 16s to 17s 9d ; other?, 14s to I.ls (id. Fat Lambs— The quality was not quite so good all round, but late rates were maintained.
