Petitioner prays that legislation may be passed to confirm her position as owner of certain land at Ohinemutu, which came to her under the will of the late Neramona Pini. Petitioners state that they are reduced to a state of penury through the non-receipt of rent on certain reserves set aside for their benefit in Nelson, and pray for relief. I am directed to report that, as the matter of reserves is about to come before the Court, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 11th September, 1891.
