No. 18. THE SUPEEINTENDEIN'T OF WELLINGTON TO THE HONOEABLE THE COLONIAL SECBETAEY. Superintendent's Office, Wellington, 8th October, 1863. Sib,— I do myself the honor to request that you will be pleased to cause the sum of Twelve hundred and fifty pounds, due from the Province of Hawke's Bay, on account of interest on the Permanent Debt of the original Province of Wellington, to be paid to the Provincial Treasurer here, with as little delay as possible. The amount required to pay the half-yearly dividends, due in London on the ] st January next, will be remitted by me by the mail leaving here on the 11th instant. I have, &c, I. E. Sib,— I have the honor, by direction of the Colonial Treasurer, to instruct you to pay to the Sub-Treasurer, Napier, the sum of Twelve hundred and fifty pounds, in repayment of a corresponding amount authorised to be paid to the Provincial Treasurer, Wellington, on account of interest due from the Province of Hawke's Bay on the Wellington Provincial Debt for the half-year ending 31st December, 1863.
