I am directed to report that the Native Affairs Committee, at its final meeting this morning, adopted the following report :■ — " The Native Affairs Committee, consisting of sixteen members, has held fourteen meetings during the session, with an average attendance of nine members at each meeting. " Including thirty-nine petitions held over from last session, the Committee had before it fifty-five petitions, of these twenty-seven have been reported on and thirty-one are carried over. " Eight parliamentary papers have been considered by the Committee and reported on. " The Native Purposes Bill was duly considered and reported on to the House, with amendments.
