I do myself the honor to request that you will be pleased to cause the sum of £1,250, due from the Province of Hawke's Bay on account of interest on the permanent debt of the original Province of Wellington, to be paid to the Provincial Treasurer with as little delay as possible. The amount required to pay the half-yearly dividends due in London on the Ist July next, will be remitted by me by the mail leaving here on the 11th instant.
