I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th instant, No. 77, intimating that instructions have been given to the Sub-Treasurer at AVellington to pay over the sum of £1,250 to the Provincial Treasurer on account of the Hawke's Bay Province, and to tender my thanks for the same.
