PATRIOTIC COUNCIL
The first annual meeting of the Okoroire Railway Sub-committee of the New Zealand Patriotic Council was held at the residence of Mrs Deadman this week. Mrs H. Crawford presided. The report showed a successful balance-sheet. It was stated that 12 meetings had been held during the year with an average attendance of 14 members, and
45 parcels had been sent overseas ; well as three parcels of clothing f< England.
