TAUPIRI LADIES’ CLUB

CROQUET OPENING The Taupiri Ladies’ Croquet Club recently held its opening day on the greens. The weather was fine and there was a large attendance of members and friends. A presentation on behalf of the Taupiri Croquet Club was made to Mrs J. Murphy, who is leaving to reside in Hamilton. Mrs Murphy suitably replied. Winners of the various competitions were as follows:—Progressive A, Mrs Luke (Huntly); progressive B, Mrs Johnstone (Waiku); target, Mrs Ruston (Huntly); quoits, Mrs Todd (Ngaruawahia); range, Mrs Williamson (Taupiri).
