MOVE TO PAEROA

MR M. THOMAS TRANSFERRED Mr Malcolm Thomas, of the Hamilton office of the Public Works Department, has received notification of his transfer on promotion to Paeroa, where he will be in charge of the out-districts. After the Great War Mr Thomas was engaged in survey work for the Department in this district, and in June, 1922, he joined the Hamilton office staff. He has been stationed in Hamilton ever since. Mr Thomas has taken a great interest in amateur theatrical work in Hamilton, having been connected, both as office-bearer and performer, with 'the Waikato branch of the British Drama League, Operatic Society, Hamilton Playbox and Performers’ Club.
