MEN FOR TERRITORIALS

NEW SYSTEM INTRODUCED POSITION IN HAMILTON The new system of dealing with appeals of recruits to fill the ranks of the Territorial Force, announced today, had its repercussions in Hamilton, for there was to have been a sitting of the Hamilton District ManPower Committee today in Hamilton. On receipt of the new orders steps were immediately taken by the secretary of the committee, Mr P. J. Gallagher, to notify by telephone all appellants that today’s sitting was cancelled.

Details of the new system are published on page 7 today.
