POLICE RESIGNATIONS CONTROL BY MINISTER (By Telegraph.—Press Association; WELLINGTON, Thursday A provision that no member of the police force may resign without the consent of the Minister in charge of the department is made in the Police Force Emergency Regulations, 1941, gazetted tonight. Any officer who resigns his office without having obtained authority in writing from the Minister will be liable to a fineVnot exceeding £2O and to forfeit all arrears of pay then due to him. -
