PROMISING DRIVERB NORRIS —G ARM-ON DSW A Y There arc several promising young trotting drivers at present located In Wio Waikato, prominent among them being 1. Norris and G. Gamioiuloway, both ot wham were the subject of much favourable comment among experienced drivers who saw them operating in the sulky at the recent Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association s Show at Cambridge. Norris, who drove Radio yueen, gave a particularly line exhibition oJ driving, being unlucky in meeting Crucible, who, under the urging of the successful rein*>man, M. aJtewart, just managed to get up and beat Radio Queen by the narrowest or margins. Handling his charge like a veteran, Norris never permit led lilmseli bo be bustled and gave tne impression that he is the makings of a driver of more than ordinary merit. prior to the Cambridge show be had driven Derby Lu at the xnaimee meeting here when she only narrowly missed a place arter going to the front early, from 12 yards behind. Oarniomlsway is another young driver who showed dehnite promise in the Wotting events run at the Cambridge showunder tlie auspice*; of the Waikato Trotting Owners, Breeders and Trainers’ Association.
