SERVICE IN EGYPT (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday Private advice was received in Christchurch recently that Driver G. F. Heafley, who is serving with the Expeditionary Force in Egypt, had been recommended for a decoration, but so far it has not been officially confirmed. Cabled advice was received this week by his wife, who resides with her mother, Mrs Shirley Thomson, at St. Albans, that Driver Heafley had been placed on the dangerously ill list, suffering from cerebral lacerations.
