MOTORCYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION ON BRIDGE TWO OTHERS INJURED (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Monday Following a collision between a motor-cycle and a bicycle on the Mangere Bridge, Onehunga, at midnight on Saturday the motor-cyclist was killed and two other men were seriously injured. The man fatally injured was:— Mr Colin Kitchener Priestley, labourer, aged 24, of Omana Road, Papatoetoe, an employee of the Southdown freezing works. His companion on the motor-cycle, Kenneth Aitkenhead, labourer, aged 23, who is also employed at the freezing works and lives at the same address, suffered head injuries and concussion. The cyclist was Mr Esmond Kerebs, a fertiliser worker, aged 23, married, of Mountain House, Domain Road, Mangere. He and the other men were taken to hospital in two ambulances, Mr Kerebs suffering from head injuries and concussion. Mr Priestley died at 11.15 a.m. yesterday, and both the injured men were in a serious condition last night. Mr Kerebs was cycling home from work when the collision occurred.
