TO MEET EMERGENCY
BUSINESS AREA SCHEME Regarding the organising of the business area for emergencies as a matter of vital importance to the owners, managers and workers, Mr F. Jones has convened an urgent meeting to discuss the subject in the rooms above Dolly Varden at 7.30 p.m. on 'I uesday evening. Mr Jones hopes that every important building will send a representative, while • heads of State Departments are : specially invited. The discussion will j be opened by Mr Jones himself, who j will describe the work already done j by the Emergency Precaution Volun- | teers in the surrounding local bodies I and outline how the risk of a man j losing his business or the workman losing his job can be reduced by supporting the efforts of local bodies and the organisations that are doing the precaution work for them.
