HAPPY AFTERNOON
CAST ENTERTAINED A pleasant afternoon was spent at the residence of Mrs Les Cooke, Pembroke Street, recently, when the hostess entertained the cast of “I’m Sorry It’s Out,” a delightful one-act play, produced by the Whitiora Women’s Institute. Games and competitions were held after which afternoon tea was served. Mrs Cooke, who wore a frock of floral crepe, was assisted by her mother, Mrs Linder, who was in a black satin gown. Those present . were:—Mrs J. Scobie, Mrs M. Warren, Mrs H. Linstrom, Mrs H. Norman-Smith, Mrs R. Forsyth, Mrs H. Mackley and Miss J. McKenzie.
