GOVERNMENT’S POWERS TRADES’ COUNCIL RESOLUTION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Thursday The Manawatu Trades Council passed a resolution protesting to the Federation of Labour regarding the wide and sweeping powers taken by the Attorney General in the amendment to the Emergency Regulations and called on the Federation to use every endeavour to have the legislation erased. The resolution also asked whether the Federation had been consulted and if so what had its action been.
