CAMP HOSPITAL

HOPU HOPU EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE FROM HAMILTON Appreciation of the assistance of the Red Cross Society, Hamilton, in providing many needs for the military hospital at the Hopu Copu camp has been expressed by the sister-in-charge, Miss E. M. Somers-Cock. The society forwarded to the camp hospital a radio, several pairs of pyjamas, slippers, bedjackets, dressing gowns, food and games. The sister-in-charge stated that difficulty had been experienced in securing adequate supplies of many of the articles received, and the camp hospital equipment had previously been very low. She added that the work of the Red Cross was very much appreciated by the army sisters.
