Mr C. A. Burgess has resigned his seat on the council of the New Zealand Golf Association, as he will go into camp next week.
Mr Owen Davies, formerly of Hamilton, and now a member of the civil staff of the Air Department, Wellington, is visiting Hamilton.
Lieutenant-Colonel E. F. ClaytonGreene, of Hamilton, Officer Commanding the Coastal Forts in Auckland, is attending a refresher course at Fort Dorset, Wellington.
Messrs J. P. Short (Wellington), R. W. Marsh (Te Awamutu), S. A. Todd (Te Aroha), H. Joy (Auckland), F. J. Williams and R. McLellan (Te Rap?) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
Leading Aircraftsman Owen King, of Hamilton, who is home on leave, has received advice from Blenheim that he has been successful in passing his first-class wireless operator’s examination.
