CAY GARDENS

THE SEASONS’ DRESSES Lady Spring’s dresses Are silver and blue, With touches of crimson And pink peeping through. Summer’s fair cargoes Are tawny and gold, With soft summer breezes And sun in the hold.

And Autumn wears gowns Of scarlet and brown, With carpets of leaves And soft thistledown.

But Winter wears garments Of fog, ice and rain, With scraps of blue sky And snowdrops again.
