ENJOYABLE DANCE
TAUPIRI CATHOLIC CHURCH The Taupiri Hall was the scene of an enjoyable dance held recently in aid of the Taupiri Catholic Church. The hall was beautifully decorated with spring flowers and blossoms. The music was supplied by Mrs Matangi's orchestra, interspersed with banjo and singing items by Mr I. Te Wiata, of Ngaruawahia. Ladies of the committee were Mesdames D. Welch, L. Powell. A. J. Dobbyn. I. Walters, R. Waring, L. Foley, W. Elvin, F. Thomasen, W. Richards, A. Garry, and R. HardAmong those present were:—Mesdames C. Lovell. A. Murphy, J. Jameson (Masterton), J. Wright, R. Francham. F. J. Farrell, A. Gibb. S. J. Wilson. Misses E. Scott. B. Parks, S. Gibb, A. Wilson, J. Lovell, A. O’Conner, V. Edge, E. Brooks, M. Cavanagh (Ngaruawahia), P. Griffen, P. Entwhistle, I.
