JERSEYS PARADE

NATIONAL SHOW FIXTURE HELD AT CLAUDELANDS Jersey bulls from all parts of the North Island were on parade at the Claudelands Showgrounds yesterday for the 18th National Show. More than 100 entries were shown and the standard of quality throughout the various classes was regarded as highly satisfactory and comparing very favourably with other years. The show was conducted by Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited. The judges were Messrs C. G. C. Dermer (Feilding), H. Moreland (Newstead), W. H. Miers (Rototuna) and H. J. Lancaster (Palmerston North). Details of Placing* Results were as rollows: Junior championship: Mr w. « McE wen’s (Pukeroro), Craigknoll Design’s Ajax and Mr j. Jameson’s (Masterton 1 Tuhitarata Oxford Lark, equal, l. Two-year-old class: Dr. George Walker’s (Whangarei), Beaulieu Gam-beau, 1; Mr A C. Smith’s (Hamilton), Oaklea Flag's Raleigh, 2; Mr c. G. C.
