SUPPLIES FROM INDIA (United Trees Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 3 * India has arranged to supply to Britain 300,000 tons of pig and foundry iron at the rate of 50.000 tons a month. She will also supply all the present demands for steel from the Middle East, Irak, Kenya and Uganda. After meeting all demands in sight, India will have a balance of untested light steel products of 10,000 tons a month available for Britain and 10,000 tons of scrap metal monthly for a year.
