HUNTLY FIELD 200 MEN AFFECTED TROUBLE OVER “WET” TIME (Special to Times) HUNTLY, Tuesday Another of the collieries on the Huntly coalfield, the McDonald Mine, was idle today owing to some trouble over a “ clipper.” The men had a meeting at the minehead this morning, and after a length discussion the 200 miners employed in the colliery decided not to work and returned to their homes. It is stated that the dispute has arisen over a “ clipper,” demanding wet time, which is equivalent to three hours. The men state that satisfaction with the management could not be reached today. In consequence the 200 men refused to go down the mine. It is not yet known whether the men will return to work tomorrow.
