FIGHTER FUND TOTAL GIFT OF APPRECIATION DONATIONS IN HAMILTON Donations for the Hamilton Fighter Fund are still coming to hand fairly well, and today just on another £IOO has brought the total to £1757 15s. The decision to raise sufficient money to donate a fighter to the British Government was made to* mark Hamilton’s appreciation of the excellent work of the Royal Air Force in guarding the Motherland. As time is an important factor in the provision of the fighter for Britain those wishing to make donations are urged to do so as early as possible. Donations may be left at the Waikato Times Office or with the town clerk. The following further donations are acknowledged:—
NEW ZEALAND WOMEN’S FUND The women of New Zealand are also contributing a fighter to show their appreciation of the great work of the Royal Air Force. Hamilton’s fund has reached £lO3 16s 6d. This list is at the Waikato Times Office. The following further donations are acknowledged:—
