Polynesian Development

The developments that had taken place among the Polynesians through the centuries were dealt with by Mr R. A. Scobie, education officer at the Auckland Museum, when speaking at the weekly luncheon of the Hamilton Rotary Club to-day. The speaker traced the migrations of the races, showing the great exploratory and adaptive capabilities of the people from their earliest days until they came into contact with white people following the European discovery of New Zealand. Thanks on behalf of the ekib were expressed by Mr A. M. Bisley.
