PROFITS FOR PATRIOTIC FUNDS DECISION OF MEMBERS (Special to Times) TE AROHA, Monday There was a record attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Te Aroha Jockey Club, when the president, Mr R. L. Somers, presided. At the chairman’s suggestion, it was decided to set aside the net profits of the next annual meeting for patriotic purposes. The balancesheet showed the club to be in a good position, the farm account disclosing a record profit of £340, due to the efforts of the manager, Mr E. J. Aislabie. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr R. L. Somers; vice-presidents, Messrs P. Baine, F. T. Rowe, J. A. Hepburn; committee, Messrs E. J. Aislabie, G. P. Goodfellow, J. Pohlen, C. H. Murphy, J. Kenny and A. J. McNichol.
