HAMILTON BEATS WAIPA (Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, Saturday In a representative trial hockey fixture today, Hamilton defeated Waipa by 4 goals to 0. The scorers for the visitors were Powdrill (2), Perrett and Jenkins. For Waipa, A. Spiers, Hutton, Williamson and the goalkeeper, Cocherane, were the outstanding players. Spiers was a little unlucky in not scoring from three successive penalty corners. For Hamilton, Puck, Pountney, Bowler and Sage were outstanding in the backs, while Powdrill and Perrett both played good games in the forwards.
