WOMEN’S DONATIONS The New Zealand Women’s Fighter Fund in Hamilton has received the following additional donations:—

DONATIONS FROM COLONIES (omclal Wireless) (Received August 31, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, August 30 Britain has gratefully acknowledged £IB,OOO from Northern Rhodesia’s “Speeding the Planes Fund.” A further contribution of £IO,OOO from Trinidad for the purchase of aircraft and a further gift of £6OO from the “Help the War Committee” in the Seychelles Islands, which had previously remitted £2OOO, were also acknowledged. MARLBOROUGH GIVEN QUOTA (By Telegraph.—Press Association) BLENHEIM, Saturday The Marlborough Provincial Patriotic Council last night decided to sponsor the raising of £I2OO toward the fighter plane fund, this being the province's quota on a population basis. The Marlborough Aero Club headed the list with a donation of £SOO.
