MORNING TEA PARTY
FAREWELL TO MRS HAMMOND Bowls of lovely pansies, daffodils and pussywillow were arranged in charming profusion in the lounge of the Waikato Lyceum Club recently, when .Mrs J. H. Hammond entertained a number of friends to morning tea to farewell Mrs Howard Hammond, who leaves on Monday, after many years’ residence in Hamilton, to make her home in Howick. Following the serving of a delicious morning tea, the guest-of - honour was the recipient of the good wishes of all present for her future happiness in her new home. Those present were:— Mesdames Hubert Hammond, M. Shoesmith (Waipawa), Noel Johnson, Hugh Douglas, A. Joseph, T. J. Shaw,’ W. G. Pountney, A. E. Manning, E. G. Rollo, J. W. Whelan, H. Mercer, A. W. Ward, G. P. Rogers, J. D. Smith, H. G. Sergei, O. R. Farrer, D. Robertson.
Misses E. Wilson, Murray, C. Tully and E. Murray.
