DRIVEN OUT TO SEA MORE ATTACKS ON BRITAIN DISPERSED BY BRITISH (Official Wireless) (Received August 30, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, August 29 An Air Ministry communique states: During the afternoon large numbers of enemy aircraft which approached the Kent coast were engaged and dispersed by our fighters. A small number of the enemy penetrated inland but the attack was not pressed home. In the evening formations of enemy aircraft were again active in the same area. Again they were attacked by our fighters and the enemy formations were broken up and pursued out to sea. Reports so far received show that nine enemy aircraft were destroyed, one of them by anti-aircraft gunfire, and the remainder by our fighters. Three of our fighters were lost.
