CAMBRIDGE HOSTESSES
DANCE FOR RED CROSS In the Arawa Hall at Cambridge on Saturday night a number of young people enjoyed a jolly dance when five hostesses arranged an evening in aid of Red Cross funds. Receiving the guests wftre Miss Coralie Foster wearing a frock of cyclamen taffeta; Miss Sheila Richardson, in petunia craquelle; Miss Susan Banks, powder blue marquisette; Miss Patricia Nickle, ivory waterwave taffeta; Miss Edith Vesper, sprigged organdi. Those present were:—Misses Mary { Peake, prunella net; Sybil Carey, | clover taffeta; Sybil Wallace, dahlia moire; Heather Pierce, midnight blue cloque; Alison Mills (Hamilton), cream chiffon; Loma Walker, daffodil | marquisette; Myrtle Holmes, green 4 shot taffeta; Molly Perry, aquarelle chiffon; Dorothy Stevenson (Auckland), duck egg blue wool georgette; Olwyn Taylor, hydrangea blue georgette; June Maisey, misty blue tulle; Betty Ross, powder blue net; Ruth Nickle, black sequined velvet.
