ANGLICAN CHURCH FUNDS The Parish Hall, Ngaruawahia. presented a gay scene recently, when a dance was organised to raise funds for hall funds. Music was supplied by Mrs Matangi’s orchestra, and Mr E. Stow was master of ceremonies. Novelty dances were won by Miss B. Allen and Mr J. Adams, Miss G. Raiti and Mr B. Phillips Among those present were: - -Mesdames V. Muller, F. Chaney, A. Smith, W. Matangi, B J. Woodham (Christchurch). Misses G. Wallbank, R. Wapp, N. Wilson, M. Hutt, F. Hutt, E. Raiti, G. Raiti, P. Miller, C. Kelm, V. Rowe, M. Brennan, B. Allen, P. Muller, J. Brown, N. Brown, ?,I. Dooley, L. Lofroth, I. Moßurney, E Mcßurney.
CATHOLIC CHURCH DANCE A jolly dance was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Ngaruawahia, the proceeds being to augment the Catholic Church funds. Music was supplied by Mrs Matangi’s orchestra and a novelty waltz was won by Miss E. Mcßurney and partner. Among those present were:—Mesdames W. Matangi, W. Wilson, J. Wallbank, C. V. Little, J.
