TE AKAU NEWS
CALEDONIAN FUNCTION A most enjoyable and entertaining Caledonian dance and social, organised by the Glen Massey Patriotic Committee, was held recently in the Te Akau Hall. The bagpipes, highland dancing and singing were much appreciated. Excellent music was supplied by Mrs Tarplett’s orchestra, of Ngaruawahia. Mr Donaldson, of Glen Massey, acted as master of ceremonies. Among those present were:—Mesdames C. Day, M. Tapp, L. Wintour, A. Tapp, S. E. Henry, F. Saunders, A. Mcßury, Miller (Hamilton), H.
