CONCESSIONS IN INDO-CHINA TRANSPORT OF TROOPS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 13, 3.15 p.m.) MANILA, Aug. 12 A United Press correspondent returning from Hanoi states that the Japanese demands o'n Indo-China include permission to transport troops and supplies over the HaiphongKumning railway, the construction of a radio station at Hanoi to enable the Japanese mission to keep in contact with Tokio, the expulsion of Chinese who have lived in the country fewer than ten years, and a reduction of tariffs and taxes for Japanese firms to be established in Indo-China. AVIATION GASOLINE RESTRICTION BY AMERICA (United Tress Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 13, 3.15 p.m.) TOKIO, Aug. 12 The Domei Agency stated that the United States told Japan that the American restrictions on the export of aviation gasoline were a military necessity, not directed against any particular country, .therefore the United States cannot consider the Japanese protest.
