NEW RADIO STATION
PLANS FOR SINGAPORE COUNTER TO PROPAGANDA (United Tress Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 9 The British Broadcasting Corporation proposes to establish a powerful radio station at Singapore, costing probably £250,000. It will be used for multi-lingual broadcasts as a counter to German propaganda. It is expected to begin in a few months.
