PROTEST DISMISSED
PAY-OUT HELD UP Following the running of the Flying Handicap, the concluding event at the Rotorua Racing Club’s patriotic meeting at Arawa Park yesterday, the distribution of dividends was with-held for fully half an hour while a protest by G. Cameron, rider of Merry Vaals, alleging that L. Dulieu on Fiancee, crossed him in the straight, was being considered. The protest was disallowed on the grounds that the evidence was insufficient for action to be taken.
